APC InjectionQueueUserAPC and the underlying NtQueueApcThread allow queuing an Asynchronous Procedure Call to a thread in any process for which the caller has THREAD_SET_CONTEXT access. When the target thread enters an alertable wait, the APC fires and executes arbitrary code in the target thread’s context.
